The Searcher
Well, I've gotten very little done since yesterday evening. My neighbor's little Pekingese was missing. I was out with my dog, the Peanut, looking for it last night twice after dark in the mountains to no avail.
My mom and my neighbor were looking for it today. It's been lost once before, it's collar hung and it made no noise that time at all.
Anyway, I went to the very top of the mountain, across to the other side and back down again and finally found it. Yay! As an aside, I came across a snake and I'm not certain what kind it was. It was black with 2 tan or white stripes. My eyes weren't acclimated, so I'm not certain of the color of the stripes. I think it might’ve been a racer. Ugh. Oh well, the little dog is safe anyhow.
