Art is a bitch

This has been a very trying week so far. Dad had to go have surgery. I ruined the pages I was working on for a proposal with someone. The commissions I'm working on were almost ruined too. I finished the Greatest American Hero cards I was working on, to the delight of no one. They look okay in spots. I've slept 15 hours this week.

Art has never come particularly easy for me. Not like music anyway. Even when something comes together quickly or is decent looking its NEVER how I imagine it. Its so frustrating and I haven't seen a marked improvement in my drawing ability in a very long time. I've just about had it.
