July Update

Well first things first, the new Sketchbook. The deluxe sketchbook
I've been selling recently is actually last year's sketchbook. It was
so late that I just kept pushing it through the first part of this
year. Sales have been disappointing, especially considering how cool
the thing is in person and how much art is in it. Oh well. The new
sketchbook has been mailed from the printer but I haven't received
them yet. Its a very streamlined affair this time around with all
super-cool art from last year. The best pieces are some personal
things I did for myself along with some larger commissions. The
larger pieces almost always turn out better. The extra space frees me
up I guess.

I've been invited to do another signing but I'm trying to wait until I
have some work on the shelves. I'm trying to get my schedule straight
with the various editors I'm working with but its hard to get
definitive dates. I'll post a notice if anything changes.

I'm still really behind on Femforce #145, my commissions, a 4 page
horror story I promised weeks ago and a 28 page story for a magazine
anthology. They should add a few more hours to each day or I should
get my undiagnosed ADD checked on, lol

Lastly, I just wanted to say rest in peace Michael Turner. I got the
opportunity to speak to him several times in a few convention settings
and thought he was one of the coolest people I've ever met. I can't
say that about many of the artists that I had previously admired
before meeting them, but he was definitely one I can. Very cool guy.
So sad.

I may have news soon from the music front (after I mull some offers
over) and new publishing news as well (knock on wood.) Anyway, until
next time, thanks!
