Respect

I've always been very self possessed, despite whatever my circumstances happen to be at a given time and any perceived lack of whatever ... success we'll say. Lately however, I've felt very marginalized and to an extent trivialized by people who in my estimation have very little reason to affect any sort of air of superiority.

I don't have to have any sort of validation from other people, but I do demand a certain level of civility, if not respect. I don't know what the hell is wrong with people.
